... GETTING STARTED ...

So you've joined the group. You're pumped to start designing some top-notch monsters. There's so much to see! So much to do! OH GOD, WHERE DO I START?

Don't panic. Take a breath. Always happy to help!

Upon joining, the Benevolent Leader will stop watching Netflix for a few minutes and descend from on high to grant you your first Familiar.

It is very important to note that this group is all about YOU. You are the creative little monkey here. We simply provide the challenges and a semi-stable platform to stand upon. So we will not give you a specific beast. What we WILL give you is:

FIVE randomly-selected animal species.

From these five options, you will choose TWO. This will be the foundation of your first Familiar. It is up to you to combine the characteristics of these two animal species into a NEW species. You decide how much or how little to include from each, and you choose their name and personality. The only rule is that you CANNOT include any characteristics that are not found in either of these two animals (this includes size—your Familiar cannot be any bigger or smaller than the biggest or smallest animal it is derived from).

Don't fret though, you'll get a chance to add to your Familiar (and get new ones!) as you go along.

So now you have your first Familiar! OH GOD, I'M STUCK AGAIN CAN I PANIC NOW?

No, no you can't!

You have a world of possibilities from this point onward. Here's an easy go-to list!




Requirement: One Familiar with no existing Character Sheet or a Familiar with a sheet who has since been upgraded

Instructions:
No set template. Be creative! Include a picture and/or written description of your Familiar, their name, gender, which animals you combined to make them, and a brief overview of their personality. If you have upgraded your Familiar, you CAN complete this Quest again.

REWARD: ONE EXTRA ANIMAL SPECIES ALLOWED FOR YOUR NEXT FAMILIAR.
(Example: Instead of combining two animals, you will be allowed to combine three.)
